iPhone How-to guide – Tips and Tutorials for iPhone Users

iPhone users are increasing day by day in Bangladesh. But there was no specific website for Bangladeshi iPhone users for getting help. Recently one of my friends started a website called ‘iPhoneHow.org’. This is mainly tips and tutorials based blog.

iPhone 4 and 3gs are now available in Bangladesh. Also, many Bangladeshis imported iPhone from other countries by helping their relatives. Here, the main problem is most of the phones are locked to a specific carrier. That means, only one company’s SIM is authorized. Factory unlocked iPhones are also available but the price of those are high. Also, we face problem in installing apps from iTunes store; because international credit card is required for installing apps.

So, iPhone carrier unlock is required to use another SIM; and the iPhone have to be jailbroken for unlocking and installing apps from third party without credit card. Most of us spend money to do those. We unlocked our iPhone by money from Bashundhara City, Eastern Plaza, or other mobile shops. But many of us don’t know, we can unlock and jailbreak without spending money. These are very easy now a day. Anyone can do it himself. Free software is available to jailbreak and unlock; for example – we can upgrade and jailbreak iPhone using Sn0wbreeze, Redsn0w, or JailbreakMe 3.0. Even iOS 4.3.3 can be jailbroken with them. A software ‘Cydia’ will be installed after jailbreak. We can install apps using Cydia without credit card. Not only the above things are there, you will find iPod tips, Apple news, apps reviews, iPhone games reviews, and many other things. All topics to there are easy to understand and those are really helpful.

There is no iPhone website written in Bengali language. Some technology sites are available which are written in Bengali language. iPhone is a small part of them, but there is no specific Bangla language iPhone blog or website.
