Badhon is organized by students. A lot of volunteers donate blood every day. Badhon is fully volunteer organization and working for the poor sick people who need emergency blood. Some students of Shahidullah Hall, Dhaka University established Badhon in 1997. The slogan of Badhon, “একের রক্ত অন্যের জীবন, রক্তই হোক আত্মার বাঁধন”। Now a days Badhon has at least 100 units in different Universities in Bangladesh like Dhaka University, BUET, Jahangirnagar University, Agricultural University, Rajshahi University etc.   The head office of Badhan is in TSC, Dhaka University.
