The Daily Bhorer Kagoj – Bangla Newspaper

Daily Bhorer Kagoj (Bengali – দৈনিক ভোরের কাগজ) was started as a daily Bangla newspaper in the year 1992. The editor is Shyamal Dutta who is a popular journalist of Bangladesh. The newspaper has an online version also which publishes updated news every day.

Once upon a time Bhorer Kagoj was the most sold Bangla newspaper. In the year 2000, a popular journalist group (Matiur Rahman, Anisul Haque and some others) leave the daily and joined to new bornDaily Prothom Alo. After that its popularity was decreasing day by day. The founder editor of the newspaper was Naimul Islam Khan. Kaler Kantho‘s present editor Abed Khan was the editor of this paper before Shyamal Dutta.

It is true that most of the top level journalists of Bangladesh are created from Bhorer Kagoj. Sanjeeb Chowdhury, Kamruzzaman Kamu, Monjurul Haque, Anisul Haque, Abida Nasreen Kali, Arif Jebtik and a lot of popular journalists worked here. Most of them are sifted to others.

The paper publishes news of Bangladesh, world, sports, local, media, cultural, literature etc. with some featured pages. Mela, Onnopkkho, Rangabank, Durer Janala, Pathok Forum, Jibon Japon, Abashar, Berano, Shamoyiki and many others were very popular supplementary of this newspaper.
